WELCOME TO THE
GREEN LAKE COUNTY FAIR WEBSITE!
Thank you everyone for a great fair season! Check back soon to view the annual report and some highlights!
The Green Lake County Fair’s project “Udderly Desperate” was named one of 15 finalists for a Fairground Facelift grant sponsored by Grinnell Mutual.
Beginning at noon (CT) on Thursday, September 7, the public can visit the company’s Facebook page to vote for project finalists at
http://www.facebook.com/myGrinnellMutual or grinnellmutual.com/promotions/fairground-facelift-promotion.
Click the VOTE button on the fairground project photo. Facebook users may vote once per day. Voting will close Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at 11:45 a.m. (CT). The project with the highest number of votes will receive a $3,000 grant. The projects finishing second, third, fourth, and fifth place in voting will each receive a $1,000 grant.
The Green Lake County Fair will use the grant money to replace the failing pumping system in the milk house so dairy exhibitors can milk their cows during the fair. Without the system, the milk gets dumped instead of sold. The milk house is also an opportunity to educate fairgoers in the Dairy State!
So spread the word to all the Green Lake County Fair supporters, 4-H members, family and friends. VOTE-VOTE to help out the “Udderly Desperate” Green Lake County Fair project. If you have any questions, please call the Fair office at 920.294.4033.
Thank you everyone for your support!
